Inventor File is Crashing the AutoVue Server on Windows 2012 R2, Getting Error: "Error unmarshaling return header"

Symptoms

Using AutoVue 21.0.0 in order to view Inventor 2015 part or assembly files throws the following error:

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Start AutoVue 21.0.0.
  2. Open an Inventor 2015 file.
  3. Notice the problem.
