TimeoutError: DOM Exception 23 in Safari Browser When Logging into Convergence (Doc ID 2098222.1)

Intermittently, users are unable to log into Convergence.

In one particular test, the user entered their username and password, and then clicked "Sign In", and at same time as that, clicked "start" on a stopwatch.

Note: this particular user only had 5 folders in their mailbox.

When a user can successfully log into Convergence, the user usually gets completely logged in in about 4 seconds.
Once in a while the login will hang at 50% address book and takes longer, but eventually succeeds.

When it fails and the user is unable to log in, the cursor changes to swirly at about 4 seconds and then the following error appears at the 10 second mark:

"TimeoutError: DOM Exception 23"
