Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

RWMS 12 fails to delete containers when the UNLOAD_CHECK_FLAG='N' and double inventory adjustments are passed to Retail Merchandising System (RMS).

Steps to Recreate:

  1. Identify the Inventory container for a catch weight item in reserve location which has UNLOAD_CHECK_FLAG='N'.
  2. Perform an inventory adjustment to any one of the containers.
      a. Enter the container_id and query in form
      b. Move the navigation from detail to header level in form.
      c. Click "Delete record".
      d. Choose the reason code as 42 - stock check.
      e. Records will disappear from the screen but are not deleted from the system.
  3. INV_ADJUSTMENT_TO_UPLOAD record is populated but container will not be deleted.  UNLOAD_CHECK_FLAG will be changed to "Y". Here the user can see error message in status bar below “Record has been updated by another user. Requery to see the change.
  4. Again enter the same container_id and perform steps 2a,2b,2c,2d successfully. It passes the inventory adjustment again and deletes the container since it satisfies the condition while in deletion.
Double inventory adjustments will be passed to Retail Merchandising System (RMS).
