How is it possible to add months that have no data in STAR to an analysis so that functions like average work correctly? For example when creating a report on Resource Utilization, there are months which are not displaying in the report.

Resource Name |  Month Name | Remaining Units
Joe Smith     | 2015-07     |        66.38
                   | 2015-08     |        143.29
                   | 2015-09     |        48.00
                   | 2015-10     |        90.78
                   | 2016-03     |        136.00
Average                                     96.89

The average in this case is the total divided by the months displayed in the report 484.45 / 5 = 96.89

The requirement is to calculate the average over all months in the calendar even those that do not have data. In order to do this the following months need to be added to the report, but the STAR database does not contain rows for these months.

Adding the months to the report would show the average calculated as 484.45 / 10 = 48.45
