Troubleshooting Issues with LDAP Users and Groups Import in Oracle Endeca Information Discovery Studio (Doc ID 2100890.1)

Not all LDAP users are imported, when configuring LDAP in Studio:
1. Configure LDAP in Oracle Endeca Information Discovery Studio (Navigation: Control Panel -> Portal Menu -> Settings -> Authentication -> LDAP tab).
2. Check the Import Enabled check box.
3. Save the page.

The eid-studio.log shows below errors:

2016-01-04 14:36:05,535 ERROR [PortalLDAPUtil] Problem adding user with screen name abc1_abc2 and <EMAIL_ADDRESS>
2016-01-04 14:36:06,783 ERROR [PortalLDAPUtil] Error importing LDAP users and groups
javax.naming.InvalidNameException: CN=ABC CDE
2016-01-04 14:36:05,532 WARN [PortalLDAPUtil] Cannot add user because screen name and email address are required
