Facing issue with ALTERNATE_ROUTING_DESIGNATOR column in MSC_ROUTINGS
Issue seen when upgrading system to 126.96.36.199 with 12.1.3 and with online patching with ebs functionality enabled.
We are facing issue like ALTERNATE_ROUTING_DESIGNATOR column we have in MSC_ROUTINGS synonym , but doesn't have this column in MSC_ROUTINGS table.
Now we would like to know the reason why it is not there in Table. When we are trying to access this ALTERNATE_ROUTING_DESIGNATOR column from MSC_ROUTINGS table we are getting invalid identifier error.
Issue exists when we issue a alias in front of the table name (MSC.), however when we reference the table directly like MSC_SUPPLIES or MSC_ROUTINGS,
then we have these columns. In the later case, this is pointing to synonym in APPS and these columns exists in the Synonym.
Expect to see the same columns even in the MSC Schema.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Run a SQL and see that the columns are not existing in the MSC tables when the table name is prefixed with the schema name MSC.
The issue has the following business impact:
Not able to query the columns in the MSC schema.
