Oracle Communications BRM - Elastic Charging Engine - Version 11.2.0.6.0 to 11.2.0.7.0 [Release 11.2.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

On : 11.2.0.6.0 version, Rating business logic

When using a Generic Selector for Rating , ECE is storing the name of the generic selector in the event_bal_impact_t table , instead of the Impact Category.

Snippet of ecs1.log:

In this case " testGenericSelector" is the name of the generic selector that was set by ECE.

Qn: As the same selectors are used in multiples impact categories , Why ECE system is storing the name of the Generic Selector in the Impact Category field of the event balance impact table?
