When Exporting a Project to XML in Either P6 Web or the Professional Client, the File Created Is Not a Valid XML and No Error Log Is Created (Doc ID 2103158.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When attempting to export a Microsoft XML file using the P6 Web Application or P6 Professional Client, the XML file created is not valid and no error log is generated.


Steps To Reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login To P6 Web Access
  2. Click 'Projects' Tab
  3. Select EPS
  4. Go to 'Actions' -> Select Import/Export -> XML Project Import/Export...
  5. Select Export tab
  6. Export type: Primavera XML
  7. Select one project assigned
  8. Click Export
  9. No valid XML file is created
