Information in this document applies to any platform.
While importing data, which has one good part and one that does not exist, the system exits without importing either and flags fatal without any message.

Normally, in such cases the good part goes in and the bad part is rejected.

Please note, if both parts are missing, the log files are generated as expected, however if one part is found and the other is missing, the logs are not as expected, but a fatal tag with no information and all data rejected.

Symptoms

On : 9.3.4.0 version, Web client (PGC)

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------

While importing data which has one good part and one that does not exist, the system exits without importing either and flags fatal without any message.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

.....................

While importing data which has one good part and one that does not exist then it should ignore the part that does not exist and import the rest of the objects in the data sheet.

 

STEPS
----------

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1) Log into webclient
2) Import data using a datasheet which has one good part and another part that does not exist.
