Ntx "spell+nospell" URL Parameter Has No Affect in Assembler (Doc ID 2106796.1)

We have a goal to disable 'did you mean' and spelling auto-correction Endeca features for certain search terms. To do this, we pass Ntx=mode+matchallany+spell+nospell to the assembler service application, but the spell+nospell portion of the query is being truncated by the MDEX.  The Dgraph request log entry shows only the following for this portion of the query:


The same functionality works correctly with an Endeca Presentation API application, like the JSP Reference App.
