ASNINCRE Message Fails With Error "Delivery already exists for ASNId"

In the Store Inventory Management (SIM) application, when two ASNIn messages are published from Retail Warehouse Management System (RWMS) that contain the same Advance Ship Notice (ASN) ID but different containers, the second message fails with an error similar to the below:
Steps to Recreate:
- In Retail Merchandising System (RMS), create a Warehouse to Store transfer
- Using Retail Allocation (RA) and RWMS systems, complete the transfer as follows:
First ASNOut message for container 1, with item 1
Second ASNOut message for the same ASN ID, container 2 with item 2
- In SIM, notice that the first message is processed correctly
- In SIM, find that the second message fails with the error above
