'java.sql.SQLRecoverableException: No more data to read from socket' Error Occurs in ReIM After RAC Failover Test (Doc ID 2109503.1)

Goal

After installing Retail Invoice Matching (ReIM) in a clustered environment with RAC database,  ReIM application is unstable after a failover test (shutting down 1 DB node while application is running).

When trying to go to the main page, the application starts refreshing itself for about 3 minutes and displays the following error:


After Application Server restart, ReIM returns to normal and users are able to navigate through the application without any problems.
