How To Create New Notification Types For Use With OUCSS And OUNC? (Doc ID 2112228.1)

Goal

OUNC 2.1.0.2 is pre-seeded with a set of notification types by edge application (NMS: Outage, Power Restored, Estimated Restore Time; CCB: Late Payment, Bill Due, Payment Received, etc.). These are defined in $PRODUCT_HOME/config/NotificationTypes.xml, and the values are inserted into OUNC database tables at installation time. The Installation and Implementation Guide do not provide instructions on how to implement additional Notification Types outside of doing a fresh install. What is the procedure to introduce new Notification Types after OUNC has already been installed?
