Functional Area Not Updated in ITEM_UIN Table When Processing the Sale/Return of a UIN Item in SIM (Doc ID 2112417.1)

Symptoms

Functional area is not being updated in the ITEM_UIN table when a Point of Service (POS) sale or return is processed in Store Inventory Management (SIM).
This functionality is an important part of the sales for serial items. This field describes the business area and potentially phases of the business area that are affecting the data.


Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Log in to ORPOS
  2. Create a sale transaction for an item that has a serial number
  3. Log in to SIM database and check value of column FUNCTIONAL_AREA in the table ITEM_UIN.
