Symptoms

When attempting to log into P6 Web, the following error occurs:

ERROR
-----------------------
"Unexpected login error. Please contact your administrator."

The following error is observed in the P6WebAccess.html log file:

663 [ACTIVE] ExecuteThread: '3' for queue: 'weblogic.kernel.Default (self-tuning)' INFO com.primavera.pvweb.main.login.LoginDelegate ?:? Failed login attempt against database <$database_name> for user <$username> from <$IP_Address>
com.primavera.bo.common.LoginException: Login failed. Original exception "The input to the Decryptor was invalid."
