The Item Price Displayed on Item Lookup Screen Is Incorrect When Clearance Is Created on Top of an Ongoing Promotion Price (Doc ID 2113413.1)

In the Store Inventory Management (SIM) application, we find that SIM is not showing the correct price of the item when a clearance price is created for any item for which an ongoing promotion price change exists.

Steps to Recreate:

  1. Create a regular price change for an item (for example, with value $46)
  2. Create a 15% off promotion on the above price change (the new price is $39.10)
  3. Now create a fixed amount clearance on top of Step 1 (ex: $40) without an end date
  4. Now check the price of the item in SIM and Retail Price Management (RPM)/Retail Merchandising System (RMS).  RPM/RMS shows the current price as clearance ($40), whereas SIM shows the price as the promotion value ($39.10).
