Shell Home Map View is not Showing Push Pin and Map Location for Current Shell (Doc ID 2115894.1)

On Unifier : Version

When a Company Administrator attempts to change the Shell Location for a leaf or sub-shell, the "Map View" page does not show the push-pin, nor does the map view center on the coordinates that are entered in the Shell Attributes form (Details > General Tab > Location > Latitude/Longitude entries or click the Globe (Geocode Picker))

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into a Unifier Environment.
  2. Navigate to a Parent Shell click on Project Home > Map View.
  3. If any of the leaf or sub-shells under this parent shell have had their location entered in their respective Shell Detail forms, then their push-pins will be displayed on the world Map and the view will center on the aggregate view.  This is normal as designed behavior.
Any one of the pins can be clicked on (representing a leaf or sub-shell) and Unifier will navigate to display that shell, but in the present design, there will be no push-pin for the Parent Shell on the parent map, even if there are coordinates entered for it.
This is as designed, however an Enhancement Request could be submitted to the Unifier ER community to add a push-pin to this view for the Parent Shell in a different color.
  4. When navigating to a leaf or sub-shell that has a valid location entered in the Shell Details form (Shell Home > Details > General Tab > Location > Latitude/Longitude entries or the globe (Geocode Picker)), the pin is not showing up on the map and the map does not zoom on the location entered.
