RDMA Registrations(0): Cannot Allocate Memory(OERR) While Starting two ECE Processes (Doc ID 2117977.1)

Goal

On : 11.2.0.7.0 version, Customer data management, remote direct memory access (RDMA), Oracle Error(OERR)

There is a difficulty in launching 2 ECE processes on Infiniband.

It appears that even for a successful start (no Customer data has been loaded) following two changes were necessary:

1) Well Known Addresses (WKA) had to be enabled
2) 'reliable-transport' had to be set to 'tmb'

The default on Infiniband is 'imb' (Infiniband message bus protocol). With 'reliable-transport' set to 'imb' - Customer get the following error (RDMA is the low level Infiniband protocol):
