Applies to:

Oracle Retail Predictive Application Server - Version 14.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The issue described in this document is known to Oracle, and a fix already scheduled for future release.
This article will be updated as official patch information becomes available.

For a measure that is defined as data type 'integer', if the user enters a value that is equal to the maximum number in the range of allowed values, the action is not allowed.  The Fusion Client returns a message that it is an "invalid value" and the Classic Client also returns an error message as "outside of range".

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Look at the Configuration and validate that the Range property for any measure with data type 'integer' has some max value defined (e.g., 2147483647).
  2. Build a workbook in Fusion Client or Classic Client.
  3. Enter 2147483647 in the cell corresponding to that measure and notice the error message where client is not accepting the entered value.
