How to Automate P6 EPPM Start-up as a Scheduled Task at Server Restart When WebLogic as a Windows Service Is Not an Option
(Doc ID 2118851.1)
Last updated on AUGUST 07, 2023
Applies to:
Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management - Version 15.2.0.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
By default, an administrator must login to the P6 EPPM application server and manually run the <P6 EPPM home>\scripts\start_Primavera.bat script to start up P6 EPPM/WebLogic after a server reboot. In addition, if that administrator logs out of that server session the P6 Web processes will end and the application will no longer be available to users.
This document describes how to automate the P6 EPPM process, if setting up WebLogic as a Windows service is not an option, so that it does not require an admin to be logged in to start/run P6 EPPM. (Reference: How to Setup WebLogic as a Windows Service for P6 Web (Doc ID 911476.1))
