ITEM_TYPE Issue in Data Seeding Script for Simple Packs: SOH Is Thus Incorrectly Calculated (Doc ID 2119139.1)

Last updated on JULY 03, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management - Version 14.0.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The issue described in this document is known to Oracle, and a fix already available.

In the Store Inventory Management (SIM) data seeding script, item type is fetched incorrectly for a simple pack item at item.sql and store_item.sql.  Because of this issue, stock on hand (SOH) is getting deducted from pack item instead of component.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Execute the SIM data seeding script for a pack item='Y' and notional_pack_ind ='Y'
2. Note that the scripts fetches a different value for item type
