RDF Missing "retl_msgs._" for Supported Languages when Using Script "rdft_calhier.ksh"
Last updated on MARCH 25, 2016
Applies to:Oracle Retail Predictive Application Server - Version 13.2.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
In the Oracle Retail Demand Forecasting (RDF) rdft_calhier.ksh script (the script that transforms the calendar hierarchy data extracted from Oracle Retail Merchandising Systems (RMS) for loading into RDF), there is a line that checks for PREFERRED_LANG variable in charge of the language. If PREFERRED_LANG is set, the script checks for the retl_msgs._ of the language. The issue is that file does not exist when the language is neither English nor French.
The expectation is that the labels of the week and day names should appear in all supported languages (for example, Spanish).
