Invalid Character Error Running CDXPATCH.exe During Upgrade to CC&B 2.2.0 SP10 (Doc ID 2121101.1)

During upgrade to Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing 2.2.0 SP10, when updating the database component by running the CDXPATCH.exe from the CC&B 2.2.0 SP10 upgrade package, get the following error:

Error: ORA-00911: invalid character (DBD ERROR: error possibly near <*> indicator at char 89 in 'DELETE FROM SC_USR_GRP_PROF WHERE USR_GRP_ID = 'ALL_SERVICES' AND APP_SVC_ID = 'C1MMTYPE'<*>;
')occured while executing DELETE FROM SC_USR_GRP_PROF WHERE USR_GRP_ID = 'ALL_SERVICES' AND APP_SVC_ID = 'C1MMTYPE';
