Run When No Parameters Are Passed Gives Error ORA-12578: TNS:wallet open failed (Doc ID 2121302.1)

Upgraded to Demantra 12.2.5. After upgrading systems and deploying on Linux there are issues with starting the engine. When try to run, it gives errors when no parameters are passed or 3 parameters are passed. But all 5 parameters it starts up fine. Customer has set up Oracle Wallet and there are no issues.

When test connection using “tnsping $ENG_CONNECTION" or “sqlplus /@$ENG_CONNECTION".

Gone through Engine Deployment Guide ( Doc ID 2069139.1 ) and everything has been setup correctly. Please see the output below for all 3 options.

1.No parameters passed, gives error.

$ ./ &
[1] 45103
$ source /u01/DM/demantra/Engine/bin/; ./EngineStarter
2016-03-08.09:35:43 ORA-12578: TNS:wallet open failed
2016-03-08.09:35:43 Terminating OCCI Environment ...
2016-03-08.09:35:43 Done

2. Three parameters are passed, gives error.

 $ ./ <DB host address>:<port>/<service name> <user> <password> &

 $ source /u01/DM/demantra/Engine/bin/; ./EngineStarter <DB host address>:<port>/<service name> <user> <password> <DB host address> 1

 $ source /u01/DM/demantra/Engine/bin/; ./EngineStarter <DB host address>:<port>/<service name> <user> <password> starter1 5
