Firm planned orders vanish from ASCP plan when run with Launch Snapshot=No
An ASCP plan is run for the 1st time on the 1st of the month with launch snapshot=Yes and the plan output is available on the workbench. Afterwards, planners worked on the plan results for a few days, modified the planned order, inserted a few planned orders and then want to run the plan on day 3 or day 4 without taking the snapshot again since it would change the demand/supply and static entities picture.
When the plan is run using the concurrent program: Launch Supply Chain Planning Process with Launch Snapshot=No, another parameter: Snapshot Source For Firm Planned Order gets grayed out. When the plan run completes and is available for use on the workbench, the firm planned orders inserted by the planners have disappeared from the plan. Is there a way for plan to retain firm planned orders when run with launch snapshot=No? (FYI the Plan option : Overwrite is set to None.)
