Oracle Endeca Information Discovery (OEID) Studio Is Showing EQL Parsing Errors (OES-000180) And Warnings Messages When Creating a Derived View Or Modifying View Metadata In Endeca Applications (Doc ID 2122481.1)

Symptoms

When changing the metadata or creating a derived view in Endeca studio application and doing the below steps, initially the view does not get saved and the following warning and error messages are displayed.
But, when navigating to another page and then back to the Views page, the updated View is in the Views window.

Warning message

Validation for this view has failed with the following errors.
Unknown key: month_ret
If you decide to save the view, it will be saved in an invalid state and will not be usable.

Error message
-----------------------
Validation for this view has failed with the following errors.
Could not execute view config service request. This usually happens when an invalid view config service request is made, or when a read only Oracle Endeca Server receives a view config service request.
Error message: OES-000180: Duplicate Statement 'month_ret' found in '_EIDTempView' Entity Definition
If you decide to save the view, it will be saved in an invalid state and will not be usable.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. When editing and then trying to save a view, the above warning message is displayed (but in the background screen, the validation shows successful).
2. When clicking again the Save button, the first error message is displayed.
3. When clicking cancel, the view shows the second error message.
4. When clicking cancel again and then clicking "Exit without saving", the newly created view is not displayed.
5. When navigating to another page and then back to the Views page, the updated view is in the views window.
