'Cash Out' Count Value is Increased By 2 After Post Voiding the Sale Transaction Which Has Change Due (Doc ID 2122622.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Retail Point of Service (ORPOS) Store Summary report and Register Summary reports, 'Cash Out' count value is increased by 2 after post voiding the sale transaction which has overtendering done with tender type cash.


Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Log in to ORPOS application.
  2. Scan Item: 4321.
  3. Click on "Tender F6".
  4. Modify the tender amount ($55.15 to $60.00).
  5. Click on "Cash F2" and complete the transaction with Change Due of $4.85.
  6. Click on "Transaction F5" >> "Post Void F8".
  7. Enter the receipt details from Step 5.
  8. Select any reason code (e.g., Customer changed mind); transaction is completed.
  9. Navigate to "Administration F4" >> "Manager F5" >> "Reports F2" >> "Summary F2".
  10. For current business date, select Type as Store.
  11. Click "Print F2". Store Summary is printed on the console.
  12. Notice that the Cash Out count column shows 3 instead of 1.  The same is the case with Register Summary, Till Summary Report.
