Accepting Imports As A Follow-up To An Initial Case, Is Generating A New Initial Instead Of Follow-up Report - Why ? (Doc ID 2123041.1)

Oracle Life Sciences Argus Safety Version 7.0.5

• [Reports]
• E2B Pending
• Highlight a Pending Report
• Before accepting the imported case conduct a duplicate search.
• When the duplicate search is run, it returns a hit for which the current imported case should be treated as Follow Up (FU), select “Accept E2B as Follow-up”.

However, Argus will create a new Initial case instead of generating a Follow up for the case identified as duplicate in the duplicate search Interface.

Why is this ?

Note: Not currently configured for “Auto Accept Cases as FUPS” – Per Bug 18510942
