The Reverse Auto-Population function is not working for user preference language other than English.
The Project Master RAP BP was created to eliminate the need to edit the Project Master once the project shell is created. Unifier functionality allows to auto populate fields that come from the Proposed Capital Project BP to the project shell, then auto populate to the Project Master RAP BP and finally reverse auto populate to the Project Master BP.
While working in creating a new shell in Spanish user encountered an error with the reverse auto-population from the Project Master RAP BP to the Project Master BP.
The Proposed Capital Project BP record was created and the proper Spanish translated values were selected from the drop down fields. Once the record was approved, the project shell was created, the Project Master RAP BP record got the information but the reverse auto-population functionality fails because the Spanish translated fields are not valid values in the drop down fields and/or the dynamic data set combination doesn’t exist.
Other Proposed Capital Project BP record was created using Italian as user preference language with the same results.
An additional project was created using English as user preference language without any problems in the reverse auto population functionality.
Reverse Auto-populate Project Master: failed
Projects created in user preference language other than English, the reverse auto population fails causing problems including the generation of project number and the integration with SAP.
