Action Current Due Date Showing As Changed In Audit Log But Update Not Applied

Updated Date field change is not applying to the Business Process (BP) in question, but the change does show in the Audit Log

For example: One record shows in the Audit log that the date was changed from 2015-11-02 to 2015-02-11 (a transposition of the month and year) but looking at the action, it still shows as being due on 2 Nov 2015 even though there is no record of it being changed back.
