PM.ini Cannot Be Located in Citrix Environment (Doc ID 2126068.1)

Symptoms

When upgrading P6 Professional in a citrix environment, the following error is received:

ERROR
--------

Exception in module PM.exe at 000000000000000. Configuration file C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Oracle\Primavera P6\P6 Professional PM.ini cannot be located.

 

ADDITIONAL

---------------

Historically, the PM.ini file was located in the users profile in the Windows folder.  Example: C:\users\\windows\pm.ini.

BUSINESS IMPACT

Due to this issue, users cannot upgrade P6 Professional in a citrix environment.
