slee_acs Hangs when dapIF is Overloaded if dapIF is Configured as an UDG Interface Type (Doc ID 2128849.1)

Symptoms

On all versions of Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (NCC), slee_acs can become unresponsive and eventually be killed/restarted by the watchdog.

This occurs if dapIF is configured as a Unreliable Datagram (UDG) interface type in the (/IN/service_packages/SLEE/etc/)SLEE.cfg configuration file, as follows:

As a result, all calls serviced by the affected slee_acs instance will be dropped when it is restarted.

Changes

Increased dapIF load.
