Slow Performance in RMS Item Search Screen (Doc ID 2129279.1)

Symptoms

In the Retail Merchandising System (RMS) Item Search window [itemfind], when searching for an item it takes 3 minutes for the item to be found and the screen to return.  It is expected that the search will return in a couple of seconds.  <Patch 18227888> addresses the performance issue but causes a problem with other functionality.


Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Go to Item Find screen.
  2. Enter a valid item.
  3. Hit the search button.
