Oracle Agile PLM MCAD Connector - Version 3.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When using MCAD (SolidWorks) connector 3.3 version with Agile PLM, the status symbol that informs user of the status (if a file has been modified, matches current vaulted file, or if there is a more recent version) is not accurate. For example, an assembly is downloaded "as saved" to a clean workspace. Only the assembly itself is chosen to open in SolidWorks. If the user performs an Agile "Save Preview" they will get the load preview screen that states that some of the parts have been modified . The MCAD connector "Agile Load Preview" window should not be showing parts as modified parts in Agile when no one has modified them. The status symbol should be accurate for each part of the assembly, some parts should not be marked as modified when they are not.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Load to CAD an assembly with all its parts ( from Agile select options > Load to CAD)
  2. In the save preview select Load in CAD
  3. Open the assembly in SolidWorks and select Agile from the menu and select save preview
  4. The "Agile Load Preview" window shows up and this is where the issue occurs. It shows that some of the parts have been modified in Agile PLM while they are not.
