RPAS Fusion Client: Using Smart Edit Spread Method 'Replicate' Results in 'java.lang.NullPointerException' or 'fill.unexpected.error' (Doc ID 2130112.1)

Symptoms

In Retail Predictive Application Server (RPAS) Fusion Client (FC), using Spread Method functionality to replicate a value results in errors.

Scenario 1:
  Edit the cell value for an editable percentage measure to an alphanumeric value.  For example; add the r after the number value such as 25r.
  Result: Error pop-up with java.lang.NullPointerException is displayed in the application.

Scenario 2:
  From the Edit menu select Fill, add the value in the Fill Value box and select Replicate radio button for Spread Method. Click OK.
  Result: Error pop-up with fill.unexpected.error is displayed in RPAS.
