Symptoms

In Oracle Financial Services Profitability Management (PFT), when you run a Simplified Batch containing 5 Allocation Models, Task 5, fails:

Task1 - AllocationModel1 - Successful
Task2 - AllocationModel2 - Successful
Task3 - AllocationModel3 - Successful
Task4 - AllocationModel4 - Successful
Task5 - AllocationModel5 - Failed

The ofspa log from $FIc_DB_HOME/log/FusionApps for the model that fails does not contain any errors.  FSI_MESSAGE_LOG does not contain any error messages.  The ofspa log ends with the following SQL:

Module Logging OFS Access module data: /* 203: *io_lookup::GetID*/

Module Logging OFS Access module data: select
select FSI_ENGINE_LOOKUP.group_num, FSI_ENGINE_LOOKUP.num_key,
FSI_ENGINE_LOOKUP.char_key, FSI_ENGINE_LOOKUP.description
from FSI_ENGINE_LOOKUP
where FSI_ENGINE_LOOKUP.group_num = 415.00000
and FSI_ENGINE_LOOKUP.num_key = 0.00000
order by FSI_ENGINE_LOOKUP.description

There is nothing after this SQL in the log.

Additionally, the following error exists in the am_log_file.log:

Log Message here 1: Tue Feb 9 20:50:55 2016||SEVERE||GetChildStatus : Child Terminated abnormally. Signal number = 6

But there is no indication why the Allocation Model failed.
