Last updated on MAY 05, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Endeca Server - Version 7.6.0 to 7.6.0 [Release 7.x]
Oracle Endeca Information Discovery Studio - Version 3.1.0 to 3.1.0 [Release 3.x]
Oracle Endeca Information Discovery Integrator - Version 3.1.0 to 3.1.0 [Release 3.x]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

In case of implementing SSL using a Server Certificate signed by a trusted Certificate Authority (CA), it might be required by the CA to submit a CSR created using the -ext option from the JDK keytool like this:

"-ext SAN=dns:www.host:port -ext KeyUsage=digitalcertificate,keyEncipherment a(0) -ext EKU=serverCert"

How to create such CSR in OEID 3.1 and Endeca Server 7.6?
