Symptoms
The performance of the Oracle Commerce site degrades when property profileRealmsEnabled on ProfileRealmManager is set to true. Observations show that system capacity (page views per second) drops to 1/3 compared to when it is set to false. Thread dumps taken under load show many threads in code similar to the following:
