Symptoms

When attempting to install the P6 EPPM web components using the Oracle Universal Installer (OUI) setup from the P6 EPPM media:

Issue #1:
---------------------
The following error occurs after selecting the P6 Professional Cloud Connect application to install:

ERROR
------------
admin_p6pro.cmd and dbconfig_p6pro.cmd not found during upgrade


Issue #2:
---------------------
If selecting ignore to the message, the OUI installation will complete and launch the P6 EPPM Configuration Wizard. When using this wizard to create a new WebLogic domain, the following error occurs during the domain creation step while attempting to deploy the P6 Professional Cloud Connect application:

weblogic.management.scripting.ScriptException: No file or directory found at the specified application path: C:\P6EPPM_1\p6\..\p6procloudconnect\p6procloudconnect.war


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Run the setup.exe for the P6 EPPM OUI, found under: \Disk1\install
  2. Complete the steps during the P6 EPPM OUI, and after selecting the P6 Professional Cloud Connect option and clicking next, note Issue #1 which occurs during the installation process
  3. Select Ignore to continue the OUI installation
  4. When the P6 EPPM Configuration wizard launches, complete the steps to connect to a database and Create a new WebLogic domain
  5. During the Domain Creation process, note Issue #2 which occurs when attempting to deploy the application WAR file.
