How To Deleted Records From The RPT_TRANSMIT_EMAIL Table

Information in this document applies to any platform.
After noticing that the General Email Service was not running (Disabled), it was found that there were many records in the RPT_TRANSMIT_EMAIL table.
The process is for Argus to automatically delete these records after it sends the email.
Is it possible to have Argus delete these records automatically without Argus actually sending the email?
