Experience Manager Application Unavailable in Workbench After Deploying New Application With Message "Editor Configuration Missing"

I deployed a new Endeca application with the Deployment Template and ran initialize_services.bat. I am able to see the application in the Workbench but when I click on Experience Manager it gives the following message and displays no content:
