MSS Crashes in Work Queue Mgr While Opening External Web-links for PSR or ISR when the Queue has No Tasks (Doc ID 2139137.1)

Symptoms

PROBLEM STATEMENT

MSS crashes while opening external web-links when a View set in Work Queue Mgr that has resulted in no tasks .

Application crashes with invalid data window row/column specified as the window is not displaying any tasks.

The issue affect the web-link feature that was introduced in Patch # 21901570 for MSS 6.2.1.b1005.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

1. Create a System Preference to configure an External Web Link for ISR/PSR orders
2. Open an empty Work Queue or filter out all tasks to have zero tasks

3. Click Options or right-click in the empty queue area, and select the Service Request External Link

4. MSS crashes with Error 6 and then 3 times with Error 2, as following

ERROR

Error Number 6.
Error text = Invalid DataWindow row/column specified.
Window/Menu/Object = w_work_queue_mgr_main.
Error Object/Control = w_workqueue_mgr_main
Script = we_open_ext_weblink
Line in Script = 38.

followed by 3 times:

Error Number 2.
Error text = Null Object reference
Window/Menu/Object = w_work_queue_mgr_main.
Error Object/Control = w_workqueue_mgr_main
Script = we_open_ext_weblink
Line in Script = 43.

BUSINESS IMPACT

MSS should not display the web link when there are no tasks in the Work Queue Mgr screen.
