LBYPROC Script is Not Working in a DB2 Database (Doc ID 2141602.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 02, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Documaker - Version 12.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

For Documaker Enterprise Edition, when running a LBYPROC script against a DB2 database, the script says the resource status has been updated from "READY TO PROMOTE" to "PROMOTED", but the action did not actually take place. And when attempting to use the Documaker Studio Library Manager screens to perform the same operation using the Properties dialog box, the system returns a DB2 Error:

[07:09:00AM] Opened workspace N:\Documaker Workspaces\QA Workspaces\ABC_123\ABC_123.dxm.
[07:15:22AM] Error: Platform error: FAP Error code=100 ODBC Error 02000 100 [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2] SQL0100W No row was found for FETCH, UPDATE or DELETE; or the result of a query is an empty table. SQLSTATE=02000

GUI Error code=0x0064

And for this DB2 database, the commands work in other databases (TEST and PROD versions) and so a CB5 deployment workspace would not be useful.
