Convergence Fails to Export Contacts from Address Book in Microsoft Outlook CSV Format

Symptoms

Consider a setup running Oracle Communications Convergence version 3.0.1.x.0.

When an user tries to export contacts from his / her Address Book in Microsoft Outlook CSV format, it simply fails with no error displayed.

Steps:

  1. Login to Convergence.
  2. Switch to 'AddressBook' tab.
  3. Click on the 'Import/Export' drop-down menu and click on 'Export' option.
  4. On the resulting window, titled 'Export contacts from Address Book', select 'Microsoft Outlook CSV' as the Export Format and then click on 'Export Contacts' button.
    This results in no pop-up a new window to save or open the export file.

Expected behavior:

Upon clicking the 'Export Contacts' button, it should prompt for location of csv file & file name as shown in the below picture.
