P6 Team Member iOS Application Not Saving Offline Tasks

Symptoms
When attempting to save update in Team Member iOS App, the following error occurs.
ERROR
Currently Offline
The following error(s) occurred during save:Unable to connect to the P6 server. Your changes will be kept locally until the connection is restored. To view them, see Pending items from the main menu.
STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Login to the Team Member iOS App
- Leave it idle more than 30 minutes
- Make some updates in task, then save
- System displays "Saving updates" message for long time and then display the below message.

However, the pending items option is not coming up.
