Tax Exemption Is Not Getting Applied Correctly To Account Level Products
(Doc ID 2144270.1)
Last updated on AUGUST 28, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 7.5.0.0.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Tax exemption calculation is not applied to the correct bill cycle for an exempted account. Exemption validities are not properly taken into consideration.
For example:
- Consider the current bill cycle of the account is Feb 01 to Mar 01.
- Monthly Cycle Forward product : 100 INR
- Tax percentage : 10%
- Exemption Validity : Mar 15 to Apr 15, Exemption Percent : 50%
- As per the scenario, the exemption is 50%, this should be exempted from Apr 01 to May 01 cycle, but instead of that it gets applied to Mar 01 to Apr 01 cycle.
What should be the out of box expected behavior in this scenario?
