New Planned Order Due Date Is Before / Prior The Inter-Org Transfer Actually Arrives (Doc ID 2146080.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 25, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning - Version 12.2.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Issue :
New Planned Order due date is before the inter-org transfer actually arrives.

Additional information :

1. This is a JDE-VCP Implementation.

2. Issue details :

a) in a ECC Constrained (Classic) plan with a Warehouse (org AAA ) and a Mfg Plant ( org BBB ) .
b) The issue is the mismatch of dates when any demand on the warehouse is exploded to suggest a Work Order in Mfg plant and a corresponding Transfer Order between MFG plant and Warehouse.

note , the intransit time of 2 days .

In other words, the planned order for WO get generated later than the original demand due to constraints.

The dates missmatch is only when there are resource constrains in the Mfg Plant ( which is OK to have ), thus delaying the job , end date -> delivery date . This follows the logic that material can't be transfered before they actually make it.

d) this is happenning for more items, and also it can work just fine when there are no constraints.

e) profile MSC: Use Optimization Phase Supply Due Dates for Pegging is set to Yes

Expectation :

Due to constraints the WO suggestion is delayed, corresponding Transfer Order should also be delayed accordingly.
