(Doc ID 2146165.1)

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services Revenue Management and Billing - Version 2.4.0.1.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Currently in ORMB production and QA DBA privileges has been given to cisadm. Based on our DBA's this was needed for ORMB and its tools to work.

Questions:

1. For normal working of ORMB (batch submitting via UI, batch submissions via command prompts, file uploads like on-demand billing files, applying bundles, running UI) does cisadm schema need DBA privileges at all?

2. For activities like applying blueprints, running data conversion scripts supplied by Oracle as part of upgrades, doing an ORMB upgrade does cisadm need to have DBA privileges for these activities?

3. Are there any other activities for which cisadm needs to have DBA privileges? CISADM already has resource privileges assigned.
