Error: "File not found in the server. Please contact your administrator." When Attempting to Open an Exported XML Project (Doc ID 2146877.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to open an exported XML project within P6 (web) or P6 Professional (clicking the Download File link from Job Status screen), the following error occurs:

ERROR

 "File not found in the server. Please contact your administrator."

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into P6 Web.
  2. Export an XML project.
  3. Attempt to open it using the link provided.
  4. Observe Error.
