In Oracle Financial Services Balance Sheet Planning (BSP) 8.0.x, in the "Chart of Account Characteristics" form, you cannot run "Extract COA Characteristics to FSDM".  You get the following message in the interface:

Error detected while attempting to run job:

The following error is output to Tools > Job Console for BSP_COA_Export_Seq:

Details: Error executing formula for [Jan Test] (line 0): Recursion limit [31] reached

In the error above, "Jan Test" is a custom member of the "Period" dimension.

There are no messages in FSI_BSP_PROCESS_LOG.  There are no rows output to the BSP logs for the timestamp when error occurs.

Note: You may get the same error running "Export Scenario Definition" (BSP_Scenario_Export_Seq) from the "Process Attributes" form.
